Emery Hilles is a junior at Scripps College majoring in Linguistics and Cognitive Science.  She began running cross country as a sophomore at Marist High School in her hometown of Eugene, OR.  Her parents, David and Diza Hilles, supported her decision to run in college and improve upon her high school performances.  As a freshman on the CMS team, she earned the Rossi Award which goes to the freshman who best represents the positive CMS image.  She runs for the satisfaction of accomplishing a goal and is also interested in writing.
