Matt Kurtis is from Bellingham, WA and has been running cross country for eight years.  In high school, he was team captain and MVP.  His cross country PR is 26:42 for 8K.  He is a senior Engineering major at Harvey Mudd College.  Matt, the son of Don and Kris, runs because he enjoys competing.  An interesting fact about him is that his legs are different lengths.
