Jess Rosenthal is from Houston, TX.  She graduated from Kinkaid High School.  She started running cross country her freshman yeat in high school.  She helped her team win three conference championships.  She was a captain her senior year.  She runs because she likes the feeling of accomplishment it gives her and enjoys being part of a team.  Jess thinks she wants to major in art at Scripps.  She chose Scripps because her favorite subjects are English and history, she loved the campus, she wanted the opportunity to run and they have a great arts program.  Her parents are Lee and Oary and she has a twin sister who also runs cross country.
