Elise Yoshida, daughter of Greg and Tracey Yoshida, is a freshman at Claremont McKenna College who plans on dualing in Literature and Economics.  She has run cross country for seven years at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, CA.  During her high school career, her team won the Division V Southern Section Finals in 2006 and 2008 and were the Division V State Champions in 2008.  Her best time was 19:56 at Mt. SAC and she was a captain her junior and senior years.  In 2009, she was also part of the 4 x 400 relay that broke her school record with a time of 4:01.70.  She runs because she not only loves to eat, but also because she loves having a second family.  She is thrilled to run for CMS since CMC was her first choice.  Elise also loves to sing and participate in musical theater.
