Alexa Teevens hails from Pembroke, MA where her parents, Donna and Gerard still reside.  She is a sophomore at Claremont McKenna.  She is an International & Intercultural Studies major with a Third World concentration (a Pitzer major).  She has run cross country since her junior year of high school, where she was team captain and Patriot League All-Star.  For CMS, her best performance was a 20:01 5K at the SCIAC Championship track meet.  She served as the CMS XC/Track contributor to the Student Life campus newspaper during her freshman year.  Alexa plans to travel abroad to China during the upcoming Spring semester, but of course to return to her running family again in the fall of 2010.
