number one attack in the conference. First Team All-SCIAC
selections included were Scott, Colbi Brawner (SR, Bainbridge
Island, WA), Madison Shove (FR, Portola Valley), Molly Murtaugh

Shelly Sheinbein bolstered the Athena defense all year. As the
Athenas primary mark up defender, Shelly had a very successful year
shutting down several of her peers on this regional team. Shelly
has been a team leader in ground balls as well as draw controls and
even found her way onto the scoreboard against Adrian this
year.
Devon Scott has been a four year starter for the Athenas. In
her senior year, Devon certainly left her mark. Devon was selected
Scripps College Athlete of the Year. She was also chosen this year
by her teammates as team MVP. Devon helped the Athenas earn the #2
National Ranking in draw controls this year, taking over 80% of the
draws this year. Devon was also our second leading scorer as well
as an integral part of our defensive ride.
Sarah Dick, a First Team All-Region selection last year, had a
stellar year on attack for the Athenas. Dick led the team in goals
and was second on the team in assists. Dick’s knack for
finding the back of net was a critical piece of the Athenas attack
and help the Athenas mold one of the most potent attacks in the
country.
Katie Campbell-Morrison was the quarterback of the Athenas
defense this year in goal. Campbell-Morrison posted the lowest
goals against average and the highest save percentage in the SCIAC
conference turning away 142 shots this year.
Campbell-Morrison’s leadership and poise in goal kept the
Athena defense anchored all season.
The success of these four could not be achieved without the
support of their teammates.
