2011 will mark Coach Beck's 25th year with the program, the last 21 coaching. He graduated from Harvey Mudd in 1990 and started coaching at CMS in the fall. In 1992 he earned a Master's degree from the U.S. Sports Academy in Sport Management. He coaches the distance team and coached the sprinters from 1995-2010. He has coached 16 individuals and six relays who have achieved 33 All-American titles including one National Champion.  The assistant coach for both cross country teams in the fall, Coach Beck also serves as the CMS Sports Information Director. He and his wife Kathy have two sons, Kevin and Ryan.
