Coach Goldhammer retired as the head track & field coach after the 2010 season, but continues to work with the program as an assistant coaching the shot, discus, hammer and and working with the distance runners.  As head coach the teams combined to win 30 SCIAC titles.  At the national level he has coached 68 athletes who have achieved 107 All-American titles including eight National Champions.

Prior to CMS he coached at UC Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara City College and Cal State Los Angeles. He and his wife Toni live in Claremont. Their older daughter, Ami, is a graduate of Long Beach State and their younger daughter, Elizabeth, is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz.
