Warren enters the 2009 season as the two-time defending SCIAC Pole Vault champion. Warren is an avid outdoorsman with hobbies like single-shot hunting, fishing and hiking. His hiking passion almost ended his vaulting career the summer between his Freshman and Sophomore years. A severe ankle break while hiking up Mt. Rainier in Washington took a full 6 months to heal. Warren, with teammates Matt Streshinsky and Jeff Astor, swept the 2008 SCIAC Pole Value competition. With hopes of setting the school record this season, Warren has a best of 16'.
He hails from Bow, Washington where he attended Burlington-Edison High School.
