2009: SCIAC Champion in the Shot Put and Hammer. Was All-American in the Hammer throw (3rd).

High School: Attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Was a national qualifier in the shot put his senior season. Also played lacrosse.

Other: Born August 17, 1989. Is the son of Allan and Kim Berliant. Has a sister, Sterling, who will graduate Carnegie Mellon in May of 2010.
