Quinn Chasan is the son of Mel and Melissa Chasan from Mercer Island, WA where he attended Mercer Island High School.  He is attending Claremont McKenna College with an intended major of International Relations/Government.  In high school, Quinn had PR's of 51.4 (400 split), 1:57.0 (800), 4:28 (1600) and 16:04 (5K).  He placed 11th in State with his 4 x 4 team, 10th in the 800m and 30th in cross country.  He won 12 varsity letters in high school along with best middle distance runner (three times) and Track/Cross Country captain his senior year.  He chose CMC because of its strong goverment-oriented programs, size and the chance to excel in his running career.
