Nelson Gil (Junior as he is known on the team), son of Nelson and Alma Torres, is a junior at Claremont McKenna College. He is from Los Angeles, CA and is competing in his third year of Track & Field where he competes in the 800 meter dash. Junior is part of Sigma Theta Chi of the Claremont Colleges and is also part of the mentoring program uncommon good. He runs for CMS because in his words, "This team makes me feel like I'm part of a family and I know I can rely on my team for anything." Along with doing track Junior runs cross country for CMS in the fall.
