As a Freshman, Matt placed 2^nd in the SCIAC behind only his teammate and defending Conference Champion, Warren Brown-Pounds. With a PR of 14'7", Matt will continue to push the 15' barrier as he spent most of the Fall gaining strength and speed. More experience and several technical advances should also help Matt produce a more consistent step and take-off to clear 15' and more.

Prior to HMC, Matt attended Aliso Niguel High School in Laguna Niguel, California.
