Matt Cummins, son of Maureen and David, is a junior Engineering major at Harvey Mudd. He runs Cross Country in addition to the 5k and 10k in Track. He was sidelined for much of last track season due to surgery to correct Chronic Compartment Syndrome in both legs. Unfortunately, this same injury has returned, and while it has set back much of Matt's CMS running career, he has enjoyed mild success, including scoring for the 15th place Stags at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country National Meet.
