Manon Zouaï began running in 7th grade simply for the thrill of the race. Eventually, she realized that half the fun of being on a track team is about having a second family with whom to laugh, sweat, and wake up at ridiculous times for meets. Manon graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco where she ran track and played on the basketball team all four years. Her PRs include 13.79 in the 100m (2005), 15'11'' in Long Jump (2008), and 32'08'' in Triple Jump (2010).

A freshman at Scripps, Manon is currently thinking of studying French and International Relations. Born in France, Manon speaks fluent French and soon hopes to learn Arabic, her Algerian father's native language.
