Kyle Hansen is from Issaquah, WA and attended Issaquah High School, which competes in the highly competitive Kingco 4A league. His PR's from high school include: 100m- 11.3, 200m- 23.43, Long Jump- 20 feet 11.5 inches, Triple Jump- 41 feet 2 inches.

The highlights from his senior year include being the top scorer on the undefeated (in league meets) men's team and making it to state on the 4x100 relay. His other highlights include being a 4 year varsity scorer, being on the varsity 4x100 relay for 4 years, breaking his school's freshman triple jump record, placing 3rd in Kingco long jump as a sophomore and making it to districts each subsequent year.

He also played defensive back and running back on the Varsity football team for 3 years in high school and played basketball for one year as well. When not competing in sports and in the classroom he enjoys golfing and snowboarding in his free time.

He currently attends Claremont McKenna College and plans to dual major in Legal Studies/Economics and, in addition to the track team, is on the CMS football team. He enjoys track because it keeps him disciplined and he enjoys competing against himself and other runners. He is looking forward to running in warm California weather as well.
