Kramer was a First Team All-SCIAC runner and the 4th place Regional finisher during the 2009 Cross Country season and a member of the CMS National Team. During the 2009 track season, Kramer focused on the Steeplechase and 5,000 meter races. He PR'd twice at the SCIAC Championship meet with a 9:48.40 PR for the Steeplechase to place fourth and a 15:28.54 PR to place 6th in the 5000 meter race.

Kramer attended Sacred Heart Prep in Palo Alto, California prior to HMC. He is currently a Junior pursuing an Engineering major.
