Kelsey began running track in high school as a 100 and 200 meter runner. She had an epiphany during her senior year when she realized her strengths lay in the longer sprints and converted to the 400 meter distance. She is a member of CMS’s 2009 SCIAC Championship 4x400 meter relay team, which has all four members returning. Her relay split is 58.7, her PR in the open 400 meter is a 59.54 and her best 200 meter time is 26.68.

A Southern California native, Kelsey came to CMC from Sage Hill School in Newport Coast, California. She is a Science and Management major. Additionally, Kelsey plays central defense for the CMS Women’s Soccer Team.

Her favorite moments of CMS Track are breaking 60 and then 59, as well as winning the 4x400 relay last year when she came across the finish line as the anchor and knew they were champions.
