In sixth grade, Julia began running in the hills of Peters Canyon with her family, which started her into a life-long love of Cross Country and Track & Field. The high point of her first season with CMS was the trip to Nationals with her team, an accomplishment she'll strive to achieve each year throughout her four years with the Athenas.

Prior to Scripps, Julia attended Foothill High School in Tustin, California.
