Jason Soll is a sophomore at Claremont McKenna College majoring
in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). He runs the 100m dash
(PR 11.9) and pole vaults for CMS. He also holds the CMS Track and
Field all-time record for highest combined weight lifting total for
men under 175 lbs (885lbs). This is his first year pole
vaulting.
Jason hails from Bexley, Ohio, where he was the captain of his
track team as a sprinter at Bexley High School. In high school, he
played golf, football, and ran cross country competitively. In
middle school and high school, he placed nationally in ski racing
tournaments. He intends to pursue graduate school and ski cross
after college with personal goals including the X-Games and the
Olympics.
In his free time, Jason pursues various artistic and
entrepreneurial endeavors. He is Opinion Editor for the Claremont
Independent.
