Florian, ‘Flo' as he is known around the track, is one of Harvey Mudd College's top engineering students as well as this Fall's Cross Country team's number one runner and team captain. His best cross country race came at the Western Regionals where he placed 3^rd overall with his best 8,000 meter time of 25:05. As a sophomore, he recorded bests of 15:13.74 for the 5,000 meter and a good first-year performance in the Steeplechase, placing 2^nd in the SCIAC Championship with his best time of 9:37.66.

Florian hails from San Diego, California where he attended San Dieguito high school.
