Emery Hilles, of Eugene, Oregon, graduated from Marist High School in 2008 and is now a sophomore at Scripps College majoring in Cognitive Science. After her freshman cross country season and a 5K PR of 19:33, she earned the Carl Rossi Award. The high point of her freshman track season was her 1500m race at Whittier for a PR of 4:53.43. Her favorite aspects of running for CMS are the team "family" and the opportunity presented for self-development. Off the track, she can be found browsing the candy aisle at Vons and watching an array of sitcoms and reality shows on Hulu.
