A distance runner hailing from Missoula, Montana, Dan Evans made considerable progress over his high school career and continues to make great improvements competing at the collegiate level. 

Switching from middle distance events to longer races, Evans has greatly increased his base mileage and strengthened his prospects for both this track season and for the 2009 cross country season. 

Evans is known for his smile and friendly nature off the track, and enjoys playing and listening to music in his free time.
