Stephen Powell enters the track program as one of its most promising athletes. He had an extremely successful high school career, which culminated with PRs of over 58' in the shot put and 180' in the discus. Stephen's nature ability and seemingly effortless technique do not overshadow his commitment to improvement for both himself and his teammates.

He is ready to add to an already deep CMS throwing corps in the shot put, discus, and now the hammer to score points at SCIACs and beyond.

Stephen is from San Jose, California where he attended Bellarmine College Prep.
