Known for his insistance on wearing additional clothing with his uniform in spite of the sunny Californian weather, Matt will be competing his fourth year for the Stags as one of the Stags' top returning sprinters. Matt anchored last years' 4x100 meter Relay and set two PRs in the 2008 SCIAC Championship to help the Stags clinch their 17^th straight Conference Championship.

As one of the most improved athletes from high school, his personal bests include 11.09 and 22.48 for the 100 and 200 meter sprints as well as a 49.8 4x400 leg. 

Matt attended Punahou High School in Honolulu prior to attending CMC and plans to attend law school following graduation.
