During his Freshman season, Kyle - or the self-titled ‘HamsterBob' - experimented with different distance events, setting solid PRs in several events including 9:26.26 over 3,000 meters, 9:57.5 in the Steeplechase, 16:21.56 over 5,000 meters and 33:49.53 in the 10,000 meters. Finding a focal point this season should produce some outstanding times.

Kyle hails from Mountain View, California, where he attended Saint Francis High School. He has not shaved or cut his hair since his arrival at HMC.
