Grant has been a great addition to the Stags with high school PRs of 57’8” in the Shot Put and 150’ in the Discus. He was coached for a year by former Stag school record holder Sepher Sharifi. During his Freshman year, Grant had bests of 49’10.5” in the Shot Put and 152’3” in the Discus, both of which came in the SCIAC Championships and placed him 2nd in each event – contributing 16 points to the Stags in their eventual victory as 17-time consecutive SCIAC Champions.

This Fall, Grant has trained hard both in the weight room and on the field so expectations are high for one of the SCIAC’s best throwers as the Stags go after their 18th consecutive Conference Championship title.

Grant is from Newport Beach and attended University High School in Irvine, California.
