ryan is a gifted and dedicated distance runner in spite of not competing for his high school team during his Junior or Senior years. Thus, while his actual track racing experience is lacking he has nonetheless produced an impressive 15:33 for a 5,000 meter road race. This past Cross Country season, Bryan was consistently one of the Stags' top five finishers. He placed 6^th in the SCIAC Championships as well as earning All-West Region honors with a 25:44 8,000 meter race personal best.

Bryan is from Livermore, California where he attended Granada High School.
