A distance runner who, with his twin brother Matt, has been a solid part of the CMS distance program over the past three years. Alex has bests of 9:36.93 and 16:11.93 for 3,000 and 5,000 meters respectively. Alex has focused on his base mileage over the past two summers and should be ready to put some distances between last year's best and the performances from this season.

Alex is from Bellingham, Washington where he attended Sehome High School.
