Stags Travel To South America

Forty Stags, parents and family went to Uruguay and Argentina on a great Stag football adventure.  The sixteen day tour included two games; one in Montevideo and one in Buenos Aires, two historical city tours, two football clinics put on by Stag players, a barbeque at the U.S. Embassy, coaches clinics and a cultural experience that will never be forgotten by players and coaches on both sides.  Our players made friends before, during, and at the after-game functions.

The Stags were the first American team to set foot in both countries and the excitement prior to, during, and after the contests was amazing.  Many friends were made, much knowledge was shared, and our guys helped their players improve immensely.  Our players did an amazing job of promoting “Football Americano” and of representing CMS in one of the best ways possible, by making friends and gaining respect through athletic competition.  You may be aware that the Stags have played in Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Ireland, and now Uruguay and Argentina.  On each of these trips the Stags have sung the praises of good old CMS and will hopefully do so again the future, perhaps Denmark, Sweden, and Norway in 2012/2013.
